Timothy J. Fortner

Chief Executive Officer

Tim Fortner is the founder and CEO of BetterNOI. Mr. Fortner is a veteran entrepreneur in the multifamily space, founding his first screening company with an investor/partner in his twenties. Mr. Fortner establishes corporate and product vision and is directly involved in the sales process.

Stavros Aloizos

Chief Technology Officer

With over 30 years experience creating innovative and disruptive technologies, Mr. Aloizos has founded several successful companies and holds multiple patents for large-scale algorithm-based applications. He is a SaaS pioneer and an expert in the design and delivery of cost-effective, high-performance information technology and Web 2.0 solutions addressing complex business problems across a range of disciplines. He is also well versed in managing regulatory and Sarbox requirements, having brought his last company, Softwave Media Exchange (SWMX), to the public markets.

Mr. Aloizos has extensive qualifications in all facets of the development life cycle, including feasibility analysis and conceptual design, implementation, documentation and maintenance. He also has particular expertise architecting complex marketplace applications serving both online and traditional spaces.

Paula Reynolds

Chief Revenue Officer

With over 27 years in the multifamily industry, (and over ten years as the previous SVP of Sales at BetterNOI) Paula Reynolds is an executive sales veteran with decades of experience. She is an entrepreneur and has founded three companies which she managed, and presided overall operations and marketing functions.

Paula is a confident communicator who builds positive and enduring relationships that generate trust. Her ability to produce customer gratification and lasting business relationships comes directly from her experience selling to C-level clients.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the multifamily executive sales and management space directly related to expanding markets, increasing sales revenue, and gaining national exposure. While her most recent ventures have been in digital marketing, ILS sales, and operation products, Paula’s true passion is in the mentorship and development of her teams.

Carter Huhta

Chief Financial Officer

Carter Huhta has been a financial professional for over 35 years. His experience includes commercial banking, consulting, and corporate accounting.

At BetterNOI Carter is the CFO, responsible for financial reporting, interactions with the outside accountants, law firms, and insurance companies in addition to day-to-day accounting, cash flows needs of the company, and facilities management. Carter has a degree in finance from Michigan State University and an MBA with Distinction from DePaul University.

Jessica O'neil

Executive Vice President of Sales

Jessica O’Neil is the Executive Vice President of Sales at BetterNOI. She provides leadership to the sales team, oversees sales expansion, as well as forecasting and implementing effective sales strategies. Over the past 10 years with BetterNOI, Jessica has taken on numerous roles within the company including Verifications Specialist, Regional Sales Executive, National Sales Executive and EVP of Sales overseeing the entire sales department. Jessica has partnered closely with our valued clients to effectively deliver solutions needed to help them obtain an overall better NOI.

Jessica’s drive, attention to detail, and management skills are extremely valuable assets and are key factors in the growth and expansion of our business as well as improving our client experience.

Ashley Ward

Director of Implementation

Ashley Ward is the Director of Implementation at BetterNOI. Ashley came on board as a Criminal Researcher, but her ambition and desire to do more led to her meteoric rise in the company. Ashley has grown tremendously over the past 9 years from her humble beginnings as a Criminal Researcher and has excelled in each role she has been assigned. She now works closely with the founder and CEO of BetterNOI, Tim Fortner, to assist with various initiatives in the Client Implementation Department. As the Director of Implementation, Ashley is responsible for the on-boarding of new clients.

Josh Yowell

Director of Operations and Client Support

Joshua Yowell brings over 20 years in customer-facing roles and leadership to BetterNOI as our Director of Client Support. His experience spans multiple industries including non-profit, education, finance, healthcare, and now SaaS. He spent his first several years helping the local South Florida community through a non-profit dedicated to supporting battered and abused women & children. During his time in this position, he was able to gain a deep understanding of the importance of listening and empathizing, cornerstones of any customer service role. Following his experience in the non-profit space, he spent a few years as an admissions officer helping students at one of the Nation’s largest private colleges pursue their dreams and career goals. Joshua really honed his skills and passion for providing world-class customer care during his almost 10 years with a Fortune 100 financial institution. During his time there he led many high-performing teams encompassing areas such as high-value clients, new-hire training, executive escalations, and performance coaching. He now leverages that knowledge and experience to provide you, our clients and tenants, with progressively better service!

Carolina Villalba

Director of People & Employee Engagement

Carolina Villalba is the Director of People & Employee Engagement at BetterNOI. Carolina has 13 years of experience as a Human Resources professional. She has worked for different industries including IT, Real State, TV and Entertainment. She has a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Resources Management, both from Florida International University.

As the Director of People & Employee Engagement at BetterNOI, Carolina is responsible for all the areas of Human Resources such as recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee engagement, etc.
